    Hi guys... Which is the best to explore pharsing over the bar line.
    Books, videos, cds, exercises... whatever.
    I think i need to expand my tools and that?s an area i wanna explore a little more.
    BTW, personal experiencies, ideas o comments are welcome...

    Gavin Harrison has a segment on this in his DVD (Rythmic Illusion). It came from Funk drummers in the early 70's I think...

    Over the barline phrasing is pretty simple, just remember to come back on anything but the "1"!
